Elizabeth Medina Thunder and Lightning Bowl

This exquisite bowl was crafted by Zia Pueblo master potter Elizabeth Medina using clay hand gathering from the pueblo and shaped using the traditional method of coiling clay by hand. Created in the celebrated polychrome style of the Zia Pueblo, this bowl features symbolic imagery throughout including a bold abstract thunder and lightening design along with Zia bird floral and natural symbols representing rain and storm elements. These symbolic designs are prayers for life-giving rain, making the piece a blessing to all.
