Description
While parrots lives in the tropical rainforests of Central and South American, they are often seen in Pueblo artistry of the desert Southwest. A popular design motif, the parrot representing the reverence for rain and water and stories told in the Pueblo of Acoma, show reverence to the parrot, the bird which led the people to water. Parrot feathers are also worn in dance regalia to symbolize their connection to the spirit world.
Parrot lovers will caw over this brightly colored Scarlet Macaw hand puppet. Easier to teach than the real thing, his vocabulary can be polite or as bold as his colors!
