Tony Mackel Onyx Rabbit Fetish Carving

Handcrafted by Zuni Pueblo artist Tony Mackel created this rabbit using beautiful onyx with hints of brown. With eyes of inlaid turquoise this rabbit is truly unique.

The Zuni people believe that the skills and qualities of the animal reside in these fetishes and can bring some of the animals’ power to their keeper. They are often part of ceremonies and serve as a powerful connection to nature and the spirit world.

Carving measures 2-1/2" long and 1-3/4" wide, stands 1-1/2" tall. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
