For Native Americans, nature is a gift from the Creator, and in their unique, handcrafted works of art they celebrate this incredible gift.

This drawing contains strong elements of symbolism characteristics of Hopi art, beginning with the "Sun-Dawa, at the center, symbolizing his importance in Hopi life. He is then surrounded by hands with the upper right containing a bear's paw, symbolizing both leadership and healing. The upper left contains a badger's paw symbolizing health and healing. The Lower left contains elements of clouds, symbolizing rain and water, an important component of continued life. The lower right symbolize the people themselves. The upper half of the drawing is surrounded by a rainbow symbolizing the sky. While the lower half symbolizes the Earth and its minerals. Embedded in the surrounding elements are corn stalks symbolizing a prosperous life. Print is matted and measures 8"long by 10" wide
