A stylized seed pot handcrafted by Hopi potter Carla Claw Nampeyo. Nampeyo hails from a family of talented potters and artists. Daughter of Thomas and Gertrude Polacca, niece of Fannie Nampeyo and great-granddaughter to the renowned Nampeyo of Hano, Carla is carrying on generations of style and technique. This carved polychrome seed pot features a traditional Crow Mother figurine, an important and maternal figure in Hopi mythology.

Seed pot measures 2-5/8" long and wide, stands 3-5/8" tall. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
