Angela Baca Small Carved Melon Bowl

This lovely stone polished melon bowl was handcrafted by the celebrated Santa Clara potter Angela Baca. Baca passed in 2014, but her work carries her name and talents on for generations to admire.

Daughter of noted potter Severa Tafoya, Baca was know throughout her career for the elegantly carved melon bowls. Melon bowls are a classic style defined by the vertically carved ribs resembling segments of a melon. A timeless style that will be an honored addition to any pottery collection.
