Carlton Comosono Jasper Badger Fetish Carvings

Handcrafted by Zuni Pueblo artist Carl Comosono, this badger carved from jasper represents the southern direction and is a protective and healing fetish set.

The badger is most often associated with the color red, and is believed to have knowledge of healing roots and herbs. Characteristics associated with badgers include tenaciousness, passion, control, persistence, and earthiness.
