Joel Pajarito Tufa Cast Corn Earrings

These beautiful circular post earrings with symbolic corn plant and teardrop feather shaped designs were handcrafted by Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Joel Pajarito in the Tufa casting method where each piece is created by carving and etching rough blocks of volcanic ash (called tuff or tufa) to create a mold.
