Sue Tapia of Ohkay Owingeh hand-sculpted this lovely carved jar. Using traditional techniques and methods, she skillfully executed a stunning piece of art that showcases carved, polished and sculptural talents. With feather and traditional and Avanyu (water serpent) designs throughout this is a timeless piece that will be a gem in any pottery collection.

Tapia is originally from Laguna Pueblo, and married into Ohkay Owingeh and now She and husband Tom Tapia make Ohkay Owingeh style pottery.
