Cal Bowannie Marble Magpie Fetish Carving

Known as a trickster in many Native American stories, the magpie uses its cunning to get food, collects precious possessions. Also thought to be a messenger for the Great Spirit. This unique carving was handcrafted by Zuni Pueblo artist Calvert Bowannie featuring black marble, with turquoise for eyes and body accents. A truly unique carving capturing the movement of the raven.
