Enrike Leekya Travertine Long Horn Bull Fetish Carving

This beautiful carving by acclaimed Zuni Pueblo artist Enrike Leekya, was created with an amazing degree of detail and precision. Hand carved from beautiful travertine with inlaid turquoise eyes, this one-of-a-kind bull is shown with his nose raised in eager anticipation and curiosity. Horns are carved of wood detach from head.

Enrike is a great-grandson of master carver Leekya Deyuse (1889-1966) and within Enrike's work you see the same stylistic elements of his great-grandfather whose animal figures, necklaces and turquoise figurines are still distinctive among fetish carvings and highly valued works of art.

Bull Measures 2-1/8" long and 3/4" wide, stands 1-1/4" tall. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
