Award-winning potter Linda Lucero Fragua handcrafted this unique Corn Maiden adorned with a kiva step tablita and one child carefully placed to side. With fine attention to detail, this Corn Maiden is the perfect addition to any collection.
In Pueblo culture, it is believed the Corn Maiden brings through her love and light. Just as kernels of corn can be nurtured and grown to support an entire community, the Corn Maiden represents the importance of encouraging and guiding children as they grow.
Corn Maiden measures 3-1/8" long and 3-3/8" wide, stands 7-3/4" tall. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
