Brandon Phillips Pipestone Hummingbird Fetish Carving

This skillfully crafted hummingbird was hand carved by Zuni Pueblo artist Brandon Phillips from pipestone. A delicate piece that embodies the beauty of nature. In many Native American cultures, hummingbirds are messengers known for bringing inspiration and luck. Brandon is from a family carvers. Phillips' mother is well-known carver Marvellita Phillips and his uncle is renowned Zuni fetish carver Herb Halate.
