Acclaimed artist Michelle Tsosie Sisneros (Santa Clara/Laguna/Navajo) is inspired by the world around her in the close relationships and lifelong bonds that she shares with her family and the nature world. Michelle has used his inspiration to create these notecards inspired by the special relationships that we have with friends, sisters, and children.
Michelle Tsosie Sisneros is a highly regarded contemporary artist of Santa Clara, Navajo, and Laguna descent. She is primarily a painter, but also creates innovative handcrafted jewelry and pottery. Her painting style is abstract with some surrealist influences, yet her subjects are drawn from traditional Native American themes and include Pueblo women, yeis, clowns, deer, and landscapes.
