Handcrafted by award-winning artist Geraldine Sandia of Jemez Pueblo, this beautiful polished silhouette of a woman was created in her well-known style of carefully hand painting highly detailed designs of cream and black atop a earthen red stone-polished piece.
Through Geraldine's work she is continuing the long family tradition of making pottery using traditional methods and techniques, which has inspired her late daughter Natalie Sandia and larger extended family of potters.
