Handcrafted by Zuni Pueblo carver Louise Pounchella, this turtle carving is an elegant and symbolic piece of art. Carved from marble, this turtle has a lovely speckled shell upon its back. Turtles are said to represent longevity and is the oldest symbol of Mother Earth. This carving is a beautiful representation of an historic Zuni art.
