Martha Apple Leaf Feather Bowl

This unique elegantly designed feather bowl was handmade by acclaimed San Ildefonso potter, Martha Appleleaf Fender. Carrying on the legacy of her aunt, legendary potter Maria Martinez, Appleleaf has made a name for herself as a master potter. The bowl features a highly polished, almost silky, red background created through masterful stone polishing, done completely by hand. A pale green slip has been painted on the red surface, forming feather and traditional designs in relief. This breathtaking bowl is the work of an incredible artist who has added much to San Ildefonso storied history of pottery-making.

Bowl measures: 5-3/4"Long and wide, stands 5-1/2" tall. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
