About the Artist

Phoenix-based authors Liz and Peter Welsh share a passion for rock art. Peter Welsh is a professor of anthropology at Arizona State University, and director of the Deer Valley Rock Art Center. Liz Welsh, an art conservator and editor, wrote "Easy Field Guide to Southwestern Petroglyphs."
