Cal Bowannie Marble Magpie Fetish Carving

Known as a trickster in many Native American stories, the magpie uses its cunning to get food, collects precious possessions. Also thought to be a messenger for the Great Spirit. This unique carving was handcrafted by Zuni Pueblo artist Calvert Bowannie featuring black jet, mother of pearl and turquoise for its eyes and a red stone which it carries in its beak. A truly unique carving capturing the movement of the raven.

Fetish measures 1-7/8" long and 1/2" wide, stand 1" tall. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
