Description

Rich turquoise and vivid red spiny oyster pair well in this beautifully handcrafted necklace by Santo Domingo artist Lupe Lovato. Each stone were carefully cut, ground, and polished by hand, then accented with a with an central accent of red spiny oyster beads, known as a jacla. Together the piece offers a beautiful mix of ancient jewelry-making techniques and contemporary style.

Necklace measures 20" long and beads are graduated from 1/4" to 1/2" in width, center pendant measures 1" long and 1-1/8" wide with lobster claw closure. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
