A two-sided seed pot that features detailed bald eagle profile encircled by an Avanyu design. The Avanyu represents the water serpent who controls rain and storms, and the importance of water to indigenous desert cultures. On backside a traditional sun face with radiant center and a flourish of feather rays.
With a highly polished surface, each side offers a unique and stylized design created in relief through sgraffito etching, with a beautiful golden hue produced through torch firing. Elegant and inspiring, this handcrafted seed pot is a timeless work of art from one of Santa Clara's finest potters.
Seed pot measures 1-7/8" long and 1-5/8" wide stands 1-1/2" tall and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
