Linda Lucero Fragua creates beautiful pottery pieces – storytellers, corn maidens, nativity scenes, and other figures - done in the traditional Jemez Pueblo way of harvesting natural elements from the surrounding area of her pueblo and constructed completely by hand. She feels proud to have learned the traditional ways from her mother, Rebecca Lucero, and to have passed her own skills down to her daughter, Chrislyn Fragua. Linda’s designs are noted for their expressive eyes and faces and, of course, the highly detailed painting with all-natural pigments on each of her pieces.

Linda’s ability capture personality and movement within her elaborate pieces is a true talent and an authentic expression representing to pueblo culture and the celebration of tradition.
